Warehouse entry report

carry-in report · entry into bonded area

views 22

The report telling customs that a shipment has entered a bonded warehouse. When tracking shows this, the goods are in Korea and in storage, but the import declaration has not been filed yet.

It is the third of the six clearance steps: arrival, unloading report, warehouse entry, import declaration, release, departure. Reaching it means the goods are on Korean soil and inside a bonded warehouse. Customs has not yet decided whether to let them in, and no duty has been set. Shipments sometimes sit here for several days. The usual reasons: - Something needed for the import declaration is missing. A wrong or blank personal customs clearance code is the most common - Customs has selected the shipment for inspection - The goods do not qualify for list clearance and have moved to a full declaration - A weekend or public holiday If tracking has sat at warehouse entry for several days, first check that the name, date of birth and phone number registered against your clearance code match what you gave the shop.
